Countertop Epoxy in Denver Metro

Transform tired countertops into stunning surfaces without the cost of replacement. Epoxy and resin finishes that mimic marble, granite, and artistic patterns for a fraction of the price of natural stone.

New Countertops Without the Replacement Cost

Granite and quartz countertops can cost $3,000 to $7,000 or more for a typical kitchen. Add demolition, disposal, and potential cabinet modifications, and a countertop replacement project quickly becomes a major renovation. But what if your existing countertops could be transformed into something stunning without any of that disruption?

Epoxy countertop coating creates a completely new surface over your existing counters. We can mimic the look of marble, granite, concrete, or create custom artistic effects impossible with natural materials. The result is a seamless, durable surface that looks like a luxury upgrade at a fraction of the replacement cost.

Elevated Epoxy Co. installs countertop epoxy throughout the Denver Metro area, including kitchens and bars in Littleton, Arvada, and Centennial. Whether you want a sophisticated marble look for your kitchen or a bold metallic finish for your home bar, we create surfaces that transform your space and start conversations.

Countertop Styles We Create

Epoxy gives us complete creative control over your countertop’s appearance. We can replicate natural materials or create effects that don’t exist in nature. During your consultation, we’ll show you samples and discuss which style fits your space, taste, and budget.

  • Marble Effect — Realistic veining and depth that mimics Carrara, Calacatta, or other marble varieties. White backgrounds with gray veining, black with gold, or custom color combinations.

  • Metallic Finish — Lustrous, flowing effects with gold, silver, copper, or custom metallic pigments. Creates a one-of-a-kind artistic surface.
  • Solid Colors — Clean, consistent color in any shade. Match your existing decor precisely or create bold contrast. Glossy or matte finishes available.

What Surfaces Can Be Coated?

Epoxy adheres to most existing countertop materials with proper preparation. Here’s what we commonly transform.

Laminate

The most common substrate we coat. Formica, Wilsonart, and other laminate surfaces transform beautifully with proper prep.

Tile

We fill grout lines and create a seamless surface over existing tile countertops. No more scrubbing grout.

Concrete

Enhance and protect concrete countertops with decorative epoxy. Seals the porous surface while adding beauty.

Wood/Butcher Block

Create a waterproof, easy-clean surface over wood while preserving (or covering) the grain pattern.

Solid Surface

Corian and similar solid surface materials accept epoxy well. Refresh dated colors with modern designs.

Existing Epoxy

Refresh or change the design on previously coated surfaces. We can sand and recoat existing epoxy.

Note: Natural stone (granite, marble, quartz) generally doesn’t need epoxy coating. If you have damaged natural stone, contact us to discuss options.

Countertop Epoxy FAQs

How much does epoxy countertop coating cost?
Pricing depends on surface area, existing substrate condition, and design complexity. Most kitchen countertop projects range from $800 to $2,500—typically 50-70% less than natural stone replacement. Intricate metallic or multi-layer designs cost more than solid colors. We provide detailed quotes during your free consultation with no hidden fees.
Are epoxy countertops heat resistant?
Epoxy resists heat better than laminate but isn’t as heat-resistant as natural stone. We recommend using trivets for hot pots and pans directly from the stove or oven. Brief contact with warm (not hot) items is fine. For areas with frequent heat exposure, we can discuss options like heat-resistant clear coats.
Can I cut directly on epoxy countertops?
We recommend using cutting boards. While quality epoxy is scratch-resistant to normal use, knife blades can eventually mark the surface with repeated cutting in the same spot. A cutting board preserves both your epoxy and your knives. Light scratches from regular use won’t occur with normal kitchen activities.
How do I maintain epoxy countertops?
Daily care is simple: wipe down with a soft cloth and mild soap or all-purpose cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrub pads that can dull the finish. For tough spots, let soapy water sit for a few minutes before wiping. No sealing or special maintenance required—just treat it like any solid-surface countertop.
How long do epoxy countertops last?
With proper care, epoxy countertops last 10-15+ years. The surface won’t peel, crack, or delaminate under normal use. If you want to update the look after many years, we can sand and recoat with a new design. This is far longer than laminate typically lasts and comparable to solid surface materials.
Is epoxy food safe for kitchen use?
Yes—once fully cured, food-grade epoxy is FDA compliant and safe for food contact. We use formulations specifically designed for surfaces that contact food. The cured surface is non-porous and doesn’t harbor bacteria, making it more sanitary than grout lines in tile or porous natural stone that hasn’t been sealed.
Can you fix my damaged countertops before coating?
In most cases, yes. Minor chips, burns, scratches, and stains on laminate countertops can be repaired before coating. Deep damage or structural issues may limit what’s possible. We’ll assess your existing counters during the consultation and let you know what to expect. Sometimes damage adds character to artistic finishes.
